Basic Info
Name:Freyjadour Falenas
Location:United States
Bio
Freyjadour Falenas

Series: Suikoden V

Age: 18, born August 27th, IS 433

Height: 5'8"

Weight: 143 lbs

Appearance: Though his father was certainly far from the normal type to marry into the royal family, Frey inherited more of his mother’s looks. His hair is the silver typical of Falenan royalty, as are his sky blue eyes. Usually Frey simply braids his hair back for lack of anything else to do with it. It is in his facial features that traces of Ferid can be seen, though they are definitely more on the feminine side than his father’s. Like his father, he keeps himself in excellent physical condition by training daily. If it weren’t for that he would probably be just another lanky teen.

Falena's Prince
Frey is usually fairly quiet. His mind is used to processing detailed informing quickly for the best results, and he has been known to be somewhat rash and overconfident. He is generally a gentle person, even if provoked, but he will do what is necessary. Very rarely will he admit any of his personal problems to anyone.

Prince Freyjadour Falenas was the first child of Queen Arshtat Falenas and her husband Ferid Egan. Though male, and therefore not in line for the throne, his parents loved him anyway. He was not thought of as an inconvenience by either, though some of the court thought so. (This did affect him, but he tried to be productive instead of just down about it.) His childhood was relatively normal, and he always endeavored to do well studying whatever his parents decided. When his younger sister Lymsleia, the crown princess, was born he wasn’t jealous. In fact it became hard to even pry him away from the baby. He was determined to teach her everything he could and protect her if the need arose, though it seldom did.

His gentle nature didn’t mean he couldn’t cause mischief. With his bodyguard and friend, Lyon, he was likely to go exploring simply because he could. The pair was even more likely to if it was somewhere they were not supposed to go, like the forest of Lordlake. They almost never got into any bad mischief, though, mostly just causing his father amusement. One of their past times was to attempt to find everything possible in Sol-Falena’s castle.

When the citizens of Lordlake rose up in rebellion in 447, he started to realize that not everything was as perfect as it seemed. He loved his mother, and had known since she first bore the Sun Rune that it had changed her, but until then he’d tried to just ignore it. Still, it was not until he visited Lordlake two years later that he understood how much it had. He almost couldn’t reconcile that the gentle mother he knew could have caused such damage. He had been further shielded from her episodes by his father.

Frey was introduced to the world of real politics slowly, by doing jobs for his mother. He tended to be accompanied by his aunt Sialeeds as well as Lyon and one of the Queen’s Knights chosen by his father named Georg Prime. He always took whatever task he was given seriously and did his best, in part to prove to himself that he was worth more than just a marriage alliance. That, as well as his nature, caused the citizens of the queendom to like him and gave him a good reputation. Even if someone was born well below him, he never saw it as a reason to treat them differently. Perhaps it was in part his own situation that caused him to act this way.

After his visit to Lordlake other events started to come to light slowly, but surely. Specifically at the Sacred Games, where he met the Godwins for the first time. It all went downhill from there. He was beside himself with worry for his family when he was forced to escape with his aunt. Since they did not have much choice, they went to the Barows’ for help. This decision only ended up being good in the short term, for they were betrayed again in a different way. They did, however, find the Dawn Rune that supposedly Lordlake had stolen in their rebellion years ago.

The final betrayal, the one that hurt the most, was when his aunt Sialeeds prevented him from rescuing his little sister. It almost completely stopped him, and it severely injured Lyon. Still, he could not help but think she had to have had a reason to do such a thing. It was hard to fight against her as well, but he did it. Before she died he did forgive her. She had helped him in the end, and nothing she did could change that she had been his family.

When the war was over, his sister safely on the throne with the Sun Rune in its chamber, he had thought to put the Dawn Rune back. He had not yet been made Commander of the Queen’s Knight’s at this point. The night before he intended to move the bust that would contain it into the same chamber as the Sun Rune’s, something strange happened. He’d been on his way to bed when he thought he saw Viki, who had vanished before, and set off after her. When he caught up to her, she didn’t seem to know him. She simply asked where she was.

Thinking maybe this was some sort of joke, or maybe that she had amnesia, he told her. He’d been about to ask her what was going on when she sneezed. It wasn’t dramatic, he was in the midst of blessing her, but all of the sudden the lighted hallways surrounding him were gone. So was she. Frey found himself standing alone in front of a castle he did not recognize.
